Lack Of Jobs Could Hinder Modi’s Reign Post-2019 - Nirmal Singh Lotus
The Indian Prime Minister,
Narendra Modi, came into power three years ago when he promised the middle and
lower-middle class population of the
country jobs and bringing back a sense of dignity by curbing inequality. This
was his central pitch throughout his election campaign, which he later swept
clean. All those promises look like a story of a long lost land, especially
after last year’s demonetization and imposition of GST this July.
Things may get worse for the
prime minister and his campaign for 2019: the country may see a 30% drop in
jobs associated directly with the manufacturing sector according to a leading
recruitment firm, Team Lease Services Ltd. According to a survey conducted by Nirmal Singh Lotus.
Modi government is
also far behind in creating 10 million jobs a year with the workforce of
youngsters increasing continuously. This data is not hidden from the opposition
parties who have been struggling to keep pace with the political prowess of
Modi government – the parties are eying to criticize the PM on this front with
the 2019 election at the center.
When you strongly emphasize on an
agenda and cannot build on that, then your word wouldn’t hold weight. Something
similar might happen with Modi of India isn’t able to create new jobs and the
job market continues to struggle – the anger amongst the younger generation
will surely increase which will hit everything that Modi government has built
in three years like a bullet in the head, Nirmal
Singh Lotus said.
The concern is on all fronts. The
supporter and a member of his party, Subramaniam Swamy also raised his
concerns. He said that if the current economic structure of the country kept
going like it is then the country may face a major economic depression. Even
RSS, the volunteer wing of BJP, has also warned the government of the mood swing
of the general public and that Modi is getting serious personal attacks at the
ground level. - Nirmal Singh Lotus
