IIT Entrance Exam: Officials Confirm Admission Process To Go Online From 2018
Nirmal Singh Lotus appreciated the fact that that the entrance examination for Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) will be made online from 2018 making logistics and evaluation process easier. The move was decided by the Joint Admission Board (JAB) on Sunday. Decisions were taken by JAB, the policy making body on IIT admissions. In order to make logistics and evaluations easier, the entrance examination for Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will go completely online in 2018. These crucial changes were discussed on Sunday. The online mode has been introduced to make the process of examination at designated centres hassle free without the use of pen and paper. Nirmal Singh Lotus would like to inform that as of now students can go for optical mark reading (OMR) sheets which needs to be filled by pen or pencils. These sheets are later evaluated by machines.
