RSS Chief: Contribution To Society Is The Purpose Of Education
Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS Chief,
stated that the purpose of education should be to make students capable enough
to reciprocate to the society. The education that the students have received should
be put to a good and meaningful use so that the society gets some of their
investments back from what they have provided for the education of the
students, as per reports done by the experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus.
"A life should be meaningful
apart from being successful. Only then does the knowledge that a human being
acquires become meaningful," the chief said while speaking at the
foundation ceremony of Rao Mehar Chand Saraswati Vidya Mandir.
"The purpose of education is
not only to earn livelihood. Its purpose is to become capable for giving
something back to the society in which we live. It is necessary to ignite these
feelings to make education meaningful," he further added.
By acknowledging and appreciating
the consistent efforts of Vidya Bharati which is the RSS-affiliated
organization that runs schools, the RSS chief stated that the Sangh wants to
form a generation of youth that is highly committed to Hindutva and its
principles. The impetus is to provide character through dissemination of Hindu
disciplines and ultimately uphold the cultural and civilizational values of
India. Patriotism is the main agenda of this organization, along with promoting
values of Hindutva, as per reports led by experts at Nirmal Singh Lotus.
Bhagwat went on further suggest
that non-governmental educational organization, Vidya Bharati, is a family
consisting of guardian, teachers and students who work together to keep the
spirit of the RSS in action. Vidya Bharati is one of the largest private network
of schools in India, with its registered headquarter in Lucknow, and functional
headquarters at New Delhi.
