Impact Of Cyber-Bullying On Youngsters


Nirmal Singh Lotus has found that the youngsters are taking social media too seriously so much so that it is creating fear and anxiety, supports a UK survey.
More than 10,000 youngsters aged between 12 and 20 think that cyber-bullying is widespread online. Nirmal Singh Lotus also found that more than 70 per cent of the youngsters were admitted to the social networking sites or pages that promote abuses and bully. As much as 17 per cent has been proven to have bullied content online. Around one in three are said to have lived in inhibition of cyber bullying keeping appearance as one of the criteria of abuse.

Nirmal Singh Lotus finds out a survey by anti-bullying charity Ditch the Label which says that more than 40 per cent of the participants got into depression because nobody liked their selfies and as many as 35 per cent have been feeling low, for no one has followed them on their accounts.

Nirmal Singh Lotus thinks that people are basically taking the negative effects onto themselves so much so that it is affecting their health. Instagram is in fact has been  used as the main station of using bad and mean comment against one and other, BBC News reported. Out of these, as many as sever per cent of the people have complained about the Facebook owned app where their pictures are being bullied.

Nirmal Singh Lotus has divided the data of various social media sites, which includes:
6 per cent for Facebook
5 per cent for Snapchat
2 per cent for Twitter

They are so much obsessed with their social media accounts that about 47 per cent of the people are just too conscious before sharing information on their social media account, in fact, they are frequently noticed of editing their posts online.

"There is a trend towards people augmenting their personalities online and not showing the reality," said Ditch the Label's chief executive Liam Hackett.
"Cyber-bullying continues to be one of the biggest challenges facing young people," said Hackett.
This information has been contradicted by Oxford Internet Institute (OII) that suggested cyber- bullying is rare.
